To visit the local warehouse, the plants in Ski and Kristiansund and the Lilleborg Museum are examples of physical places we go and see to enhance our understanding of the business. Then we have the practical meetings/activities about everything from how to use SAP to how to sign up for the volleyball-team. Last but not least we have the informative meetings where focus is to deepen our knowledge about the various departments within the organisation and their
interdependence and correlation.
A couple of days ago it was time to pay a visit to the Bentse warehouse, the place where it all comes from. All products that are produced at Lilleborg’s two plants are being transported to the Bentse warehouse for storage and further distribution and transportation.And as the true warehouse nerd I am, I really enjoyed the visit. The warehouse was quite impressive with its combination of old and modern technology and it was interesting to see how the various processes were organised.
